I woke 6 minutes
Past when the alarm
Would have rung
Had I remembered to set it
I was yelled at by a man in a truck
For texting and driving
When what I was doing
Was creating art
The sun rose again
And with it my mood
Can’t keep my sun down
I can’t keep from shining
I’ve skipped a few days
Of gratitude
Of falling in love
With the way the day falls
Thank you
To all that take part
In my life unfolding
Seen or unseen
Thank you

Sounds like a bad start to a day, but an interesting picture and poem came out it. Loved that line “I can’t keep from shining”.
It was a brilliant day. I forgot the alarm but woke up in time. I laughed at the irony of being lost in my world of creating. I was a little stormy last night and rose with the sun.
Aah, I misunderstood slightly about the alarm and waking, my mistake. Yes, it is a good day when you wake at the right time without setting the alarm.
The yelling man in the truck seemed bad, but he’s part of a poem now, so all good
Yes. I guess the yelling guy can seem like a negative. Honestly, he kept me distracted. Traffic was bad, and so I created a story in my head of why he was so passionate.
Actually, I thought about it. Perhaps the screaming man will save my life.
Love! Can’t keep the sun down!!!
The sun always shines, even behind the clouds.
it’s been a pleasure
watching the sun glow
through your eyes
your words
That compliment may always stay with me
