When faced with a dragon

When faced with a dragon
One can be a slayer
Or a seducer

One can kill the beast
And be done with all related challenges
Living clear and free from harm

Or one can court the beast
Find the beauty and charm the monster
Once the dragon loves
It is now on your side
But one must always be in conscious awareness
When harnessing such power

So will you live a life of calm
After exterminating what frightens you
Or will you court it?
Romance it
And let it serve you?
Can you be the beauty to your beasts?
Can you bow to your fear
And be its partner in crime?

  1. Dragons – I have been dealing with them all day! Some sweet, some sublime and of course some wild. They will show up soon in all their dragon glory.
You wrote a lovely piece – you of course realized, but I did not – Dragons come in all forms.

  2. Hello Thank you for being so upfront and honest in your posts. Look forward to reading more. It’s great to find another aspiring writer! What genre are you interested in writing?
    Thanks Cyril

  3. nicely depicted, what gives your words here sth extra and turns your experiences in a more general feeling

btw this dragon (in your pic ) is more one to be loved as to be killed. Looks quite sympathic to me :lol

      • you don’t have to change your inner (hidden) drives :) But it was sth remarkable here, rather in contrast with your words …, although …. not with all ….

Find the beauty and charm the monster

that was sth i thought of, but forgot to write in my answer
(i miss the edit function for my own Replies here on wordpress)
